First Look Forum for Start-Ups

WTIALooking to start your own business? Wondering how to find funding? Here is an event just for you!

First Look Forum, a bi-annual showcase for entrepreneurs who are still in the seedling stage of opening a business, is coming to Bellingham this fall. The event is invite-only – if you’re interested in attending, you need to submit an application by October 18th.

FLF is an opportunity for start-up businesses to receive coaching and advice from successful entrepreneurs and investors from throughout the State of Washington.  This coaching process provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to present their business information to an audience of Angel and Venture investors followed by a networking time with the investors.

The event is a Washington Technology Industry Association  (WTIA) event that has previously always been held in Seattle.  This November it will be held in Bellingham as the first location chosen for WTIA’s efforts to make the event more statewide.

Those accepted to the forum will  have the opportunity to meet with investors, receive coaching on starting a business and, for the very best of the presenters, the chance at a $10,000 grand prize!

First Look Forum event in Bellingham takes place on November 18, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. If you want to start your own business and haven’t received any previous outside investment capital, send in your application for this event. What have you got to lose (especially when you can win $10,000!)
