If you have employees, you know how important it is for your team to be running in top form. Unless it’s a one-person show, a thriving small business relies heavily on the excellence of its employees.
This fall, a number of helpful-looking trainings for small-business owners and managers will be held right here in Bellingham. We at PRC attended a series with these presenters earlier this year, and it was quite helpful and relatable.
The Superstar Supervision series, led by Laura Todd and Sarah Murphy-Kangas, offers free advice and instruction on such topics as staff retention, supervising friends and family members, and supporting employees while also holding them accountable.
The trainings, put on by the Washington Small Business Development Center, will be held in the Dorothy Haggen Conference Room, at the corner of Woburn Street and Rimland Drive (across the street from On Rice).
The trainings are on three consecutive Tuesdays during the lunch hour. The registration deadline for the first meeting is Sept. 29. You need to register for each of them separately.
